An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Alonso Laso de la Vega got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Toni Floto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toni Floto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alonso Laso de la Vega came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Huilco AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonso Laso de la Vega couldn't finish the play. If Toni Floto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonso Laso de la Vega struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Octavio Ubeda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huilco AFC. In the 32nd minute, Alonso Laso de la Vega made a precise shot to the right of Octavio Ubeda. Zorrilla AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Jeremías Achurra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Varletta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Huilco AFC's Daniel Lauwerens got a free kick in the 41st minute. If Toni Floto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Toni Floto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeremías Achurra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toni Floto in the 65th minute. Octavio Ubeda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonso Laso de la Vega in the 69th minute of play. Sebastiano Esteban charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastiano Esteban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Zorrilla AFC's Sebastiano Esteban got a free kick in the 77th minute. Toni Floto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jeremías Achurra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Huilco AFC's Alonso Laso de la Vega got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute Alonso Laso de la Vega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Ubeda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Huilco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Urceda to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eleuterio Varletta in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremías Achurra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd match minute, Zorrilla AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandro Antonioletti to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Zorrilla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Tejada came free, but Octavio Ubeda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zorrilla AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Huilco AFC.
