Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Disvandis Iturralde took the kick off in the first half of the match. Niguen FC's Abdul Vizcaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Antonio Cuellar in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Adolfo Labbé was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Niguen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lipita the free kick. A collision led to Niguen FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Adolfo Labbé hit a great ball. After 13 played minutes Lipita got a freekick which was hit by Adelmo Cataldo. In the 21st minute, Disvandis Iturralde left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lipita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, José Antonio Cuellar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdul Vizcaya. Niguen FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Antonio Cuellar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. José Antonio Cuellar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lipita's Disvandis Iturralde in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Niguen FC's goalie prevented a goal. Abdul Vizcaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Antonio Cuellar in the 33rd minute of play. If José Antonio Cuellar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatan Tapia's late challenge caught a Lipita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonatan Tapia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th match minute, Niguen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Tapia to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Manuel Ruiz Tagle, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Antonio Cuellar in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdul Vizcaya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Disvandis Iturralde might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdul Vizcaya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Disvandis Iturralde ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 53 minutes, Disvandis Iturralde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lipita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Disvandis Iturralde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Niguen FC's zone, Disvandis Iturralde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdul Vizcaya came out of the goal and Disvandis Iturralde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inocencio Matte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefano Rondanelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Adelmo Cataldo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Inocencio Matte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefano Rondanelli in the 73rd minute of play. If Stefano Rondanelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disvandis Iturralde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdul Vizcaya having to interfere. Jose Maria Fuente charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Maria Fuente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th minute, Jose Maria Fuente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If José Antonio Cuellar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Stefano Rondanelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
