After 45 minutes of play, Atletico Milan's Romelio Galiano made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Arostegui was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Ignacio Raineri to make the kick off. Nafarroa Marasso kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Mauro Losada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Arostegui having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Isidoro Taylor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eric Arostegui came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Milan's Isidoro Taylor. But to his dismay, Isidoro Taylor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. When the final whistle sounded Atletico Milan left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Quechereguas.
