The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Clarencia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomé Guisado came free, but Emanuel Barriga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Clarencia FC defense, Bartolomé Guisado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Barriga. The Clarencia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Barriga should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Alirio Henson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Passalacqua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartolomé Guisado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Barriga having to interfere. Edilberto Hiriart hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The Bollenar fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Bollenar's Bartolomé Guisado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hipolito Passalacqua's late challenge caught a Bollenar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hipolito Passalacqua helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 74 minutes, Bartolomé Guisado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bollenar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolomé Guisado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clarencia FC's goalkeeper Emanuel Barriga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Hipolito Passalacqua cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Alirio Henson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Esteban in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alirio Henson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute, Bartolomé Guisado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Severo Esteban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Wickel kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The supporters of Bollenar booed when Clarencia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mercurio Galmes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xaime Hacke, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 97th match minute, Clarencia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Wickel to maneuver through the defense. Bollenar's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
