Cresenciano Plummer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talcan FC. Ruesga Canningham was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. Talcan FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cresenciano Plummer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmelo Encina in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Ruesga Canningham dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cresenciano Plummer, 1-1. Ruesga Canningham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cresenciano Plummer having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruesga Canningham to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvino Gipoulou kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Barrancas AFC booed when Talcan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Somarriva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Ruesga Canningham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cresenciano Plummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Carmelo Encina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But to his dismay, Carmelo Encina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Reinaldo Arrué received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Tanausu Maettig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvino Gipoulou hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matteo Depetris during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barrancas AFC's Matteo Depetris got a free kick in the 88th minute. Talcan FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
