Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Velasco Goncalves got the match started through his kick off. If Velasco Goncalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrico Van Diest scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remicio Milan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hijuelas AFC's Reces Ossa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Majeux in the 14th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Gutiérrez in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reces Ossa saved Hijuelas AFC from getting behind. Casimír Pimentel hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Deportes Limache's zone, Velasco Goncalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remicio Milan came out of the goal and Velasco Goncalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Leandro Majeux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xaime Arlegui hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Majeux in the 27th minute of play forced Hijuelas AFC's goalkeeper Reces Ossa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes Hijuelas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abundio Recabal. Velasco Goncalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Remicio Milan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Manuel Gutiérrez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportes Limache fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Remicio Milan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Velasco Goncalves in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Manuel Gutiérrez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Manuel Gutiérrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leandro Majeux stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Enrico Van Diest fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remicio Milan having to interfere. Enrico Van Diest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Remicio Milan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Adelmo Taibo fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hijuelas AFC's protests and gave Adelmo Taibo a yellow card for diving instead. 70 minutes into the game, Deportes Limache's Manuel Gutiérrez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reces Ossa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The supporters of Hijuelas AFC booed when Deportes Limache was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimír Pimentel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Velasco Goncalves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remicio Milan was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Manuel Gutiérrez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Reces Ossa made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Majeux in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reces Ossa saved Hijuelas AFC from getting behind. Manuel Gutiérrez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Leandro Majeux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportes Limache's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Majeux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reces Ossa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
