Mateo Dutard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mercé Neruda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Fabricio Anguita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Infantas charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Infantas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Abanico AFC's Jacinto Infantas got a free kick in the 13th minute. Honorato Manns's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miren Guemes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabricio Anguita was the one to do the kick off. When Renato Honores fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Copaquire's protests and gave Renato Honores a yellow card for diving instead. If Zarpas Guisado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Copaquire getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Jaume Larralde hit a great ball. Zarpas Guisado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Mercé Neruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mercé Neruda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateo Dutard's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 69 minutes in the game, Fabricio Anguita fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Miren Guemes having to interfere. Honorato Manns in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Miren Guemes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Renato Honores kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Copaquire defense, Zarpas Guisado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mercé Neruda. The Copaquire fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mercé Neruda should have stopped the shot. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
