Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Villucura's Jesus Manhood started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jesus Manhood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Bernardino Dawson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Jiménez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Rueda having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Jesus Manhood notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SDMN FC's Bernardino Dawson. Bernardino Dawson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Villucura's Erik Rueda got control of the ball when Luis Jiménez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lolo Ogalde during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Lolo Ogalde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Rueda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Jiménez in the 24th minute of the match. Maxín Willis made in the 26th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lolo Ogalde immediately put the ball in play. SDMN FC's Bernardino Dawson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Manhood in the 27th minute of play. SDMN FC's Luis Jiménez got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardino Dawson came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Villucura's Jesus Manhood. But to his dismay, Jesus Manhood quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ismael Urbina kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Luis Jiménez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Víctor Javier Riobo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Villucura's Erik Rueda. Erik Rueda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luis Jiménez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Víctor Javier Riobo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SDMN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Víctor Javier Riobo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Villucura's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Jiménez came free, but Erik Rueda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Achondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luis Jiménez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Filiberto Joglar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Rueda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Jiménez, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute, Higinio Azoca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Víctor Javier Riobo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Luis Jiménez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Rueda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Achondo in the 80th minute of the match. Víctor Javier Riobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Villucura's zone, Luis Jiménez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Rueda came out of the goal and Luis Jiménez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SDMN FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
