The audience was convinced that Saturnino Vasconcelos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferrán Bunster was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Colo-Colo de La Madre's Benedicto Katalinic got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eric Ampuero took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferrán Bunster. Ferrán Bunster dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Colo-Colo de La Madre had played much better football throughout.
