Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Batista Cousiño cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Selmo Rojo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fidelio Bauzá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mannuel Garbiso in the 10th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hipolito Victoriano in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidelio Bauzá prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Americana's Selmo Rojo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Alcedo in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Hipolito Victoriano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mannuel Garbiso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 24 minutes, Mannuel Garbiso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Americana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mannuel Garbiso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coligues's goalkeeper Fidelio Bauzá, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fidelio Bauzá stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mannuel Garbiso's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Mannuel Garbiso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Hipolito Victoriano put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fidelio Bauzá. After 36 played minutes Coligues got a freekick which was hit by Alarico Mattei. In the 38th minute, Americana's Marcelo Soupper seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marcelo Soupper the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Americana protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marcelo Soupper had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 38 minutes into the game, one of Americana:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Danilo Godoy walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lauro Alcedo got free with Selmo Rojo in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Lauro Alcedo made the kick off in the second half. Batista Cousiño struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Selmo Rojo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coligues. In the 53rd minute, Mannuel Garbiso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hipolito Victoriano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidelio Bauzá having to interfere. After 62 minutes, Victorio Cervantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Americana and the Coligues players grew even worse after the yellow card. Victorio Cervantes kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Fidelio Bauzá didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hipolito Victoriano went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alarico Mattei during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Coligues fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! The score was 1-3 after a penalty in the 71st minute, where Americana:s Vasco Mac Courtney tricked Coligues:s Fidelio Bauzá with a difficult ball by the left post. Americana's Juan Ignacio From was substituted for Alberto Arciego. Lauro Alcedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Selmo Rojo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorio Cervantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hipolito Victoriano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidelio Bauzá having to interfere. Hipolito Victoriano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Fidelio Bauzá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aureliano Ayarza fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coligues's protests and gave Aureliano Ayarza a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Coligues getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Aureliano Ayarza hit a great ball. After 93 minutes of play, Americana's Hipolito Victoriano made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fidelio Bauzá was left in no man's land by his defense there! Americana's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
