Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) Nancul's Ricardo Potts started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Baudelio Puente made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Salomón Mac Rae sent off a good shot on target. Gerard Cisneros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Fermín Uribe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Antonio Guesalaga hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Fermín Uribe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Potts in the 16th minute of the match. Nancul's Gerard Cisneros got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Visen Costabal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Japucucho's Salomón Mac Rae got a free kick in the 28th minute. A collision led to Nancul getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Remi Carreño hit a great ball. Ricardo Potts scored 0-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fermín Uribe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute Gerard Cisneros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermín Uribe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes Nancul got a freekick which was hit by José Antonio Guesalaga. A collision led to Japucucho getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Visen Costabal hit a great ball. Fermín Uribe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Potts in the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Visen Costabal made the kick off in the second half. Nancul's Baudelio Puente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Visen Costabal in the 59th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Visen Costabal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baudelio Puente was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Japucucho's Fermín Uribe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Japucucho from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Japucucho booed when Nancul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remi Carreño didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Visen Costabal came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Japucucho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Visen Costabal couldn't finish the play. Fermín Uribe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Potts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerard Cisneros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermín Uribe having to interfere. Nancul's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
