If Sebastián Honorato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erasmo Schneider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariano Galván in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Nahuitad's goal looked a bit too open when Ariano Galván came free, but Erasmo Schneider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Francisco Polloni struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Erasmo Schneider didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VfB Stuttgart. Erasmo Schneider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Francisco Polloni in the 15th minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, VfB Stuttgart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Prieto to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Ariano Galván left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 45th minute Marcos Francisco Polloni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Schneider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastián Honorato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Gartsman having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastián Honorato made a kick off. Erasmo Schneider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariano Galván in the 62nd minute of the match. Marcos Francisco Polloni came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Erasmo Schneider could save by the left post. In the 69th minute, Mercé Wilson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erasmo Schneider. The goal made the score 0-3. Erasmo Schneider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariano Galván, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Nahuitad's Erasmo Schneider played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariano Galván in the 77th minute of play. Erasmo Schneider was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bayron Cuadros. In the 83rd match minute, VfB Stuttgart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mercé Wilson to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Sebastián Honorato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Ariano Galván could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Erasmo Schneider however easily saved by the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. VfB Stuttgart walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
