Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Henrico Engdahl took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Abdul Aguilera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evelio Alcantara. Abdul Aguilera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Parral's Efraín Precht got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 15th match minute, Parral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zelipe Lea to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Fausto Verdugo in the 16th minute really tested Evelio Alcantara's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cotasaya's goalkeeper Aaron Wittig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aaron Wittig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Tello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aaron Wittig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zelipe Lea in the 20th minute of the match. Aaron Wittig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Tello, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Theobald Baracaldo took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aaron Wittig. Aaron Wittig dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Mark Lizarzaburu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Evelio Alcantara made a huge save. When Parral's Theobald Baracaldo in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cotasaya's goalie prevented a goal. Theobald Baracaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cotasaya's zone, Cecilio Carilao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Wittig came out of the goal and Cecilio Carilao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efraín Precht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Aaron Wittig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zelipe Lea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th match minute, Cotasaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Alberto Zambrano to maneuver through the defense. The Cotasaya players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Parral were winning 1-2.

After a defensive mix-up in Cotasaya's zone, Theobald Baracaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Wittig came out of the goal and Theobald Baracaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute, Roque Tello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Cotasaya defense, Zelipe Lea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aaron Wittig. The Cotasaya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aaron Wittig should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute, Parral's Zelipe Lea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Aaron Wittig made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Jasone Luna sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Cotasaya's Tauro Macaya got a free kick in the 65th minute. Parral's Evelio Alcantara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrico Engdahl in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, Cotasaya's Aaron Wittig got control of the ball when Zelipe Lea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Parral's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roque Tello in the 74th minute. Roque Tello made a great header on Parral's corner, it was just that Cotasaya's Aaron Wittig managed to reach the ball for a save. Parral's Evelio Alcantara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrico Engdahl in the 75th minute of play. Theobald Baracaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Wittig having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Zelipe Lea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parral's supporters rose to their feet, but Zelipe Lea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Wittig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theobald Baracaldo in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Wittig saved Cotasaya from getting behind. Jasone Luna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Aaron Wittig when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jasone Luna in the 85th minute of play forced Cotasaya's goalkeeper Aaron Wittig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Wittig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasone Luna in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cotasaya's Eugenio Sales got a free kick in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Zelipe Lea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parral's supporters rose to their feet, but Zelipe Lea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Wittig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roque Tello got free with Aaron Wittig in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, Zelipe Lea made a precise shot to the right of Aaron Wittig. Cotasaya's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrico Engdahl in the 94th minute of play forced Parral's goalkeeper Evelio Alcantara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jasone Luna during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cotasaya booed when Parral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jasone Luna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Parral's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
