Felipo Mackenney started the match with the kick off. Isidro Vicentens struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Duardo Pimienta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Provincial Ranco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Vicentens in the 8th minute of play forced Duplijsa AFC's goalkeeper Duardo Pimienta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Duplijsa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Jesus Cuadrado. José Marcelo Bünzli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Duardo Pimienta. Duplijsa AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Provincial Ranco's goalkeeper Estevan Durney had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benicio Velasco. 21 minutes into the match, Provincial Ranco's Isidro Vicentens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duardo Pimienta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 24 minutes, Maximiliano Redole mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Duplijsa AFC and the Provincial Ranco players grew even worse after the yellow card. Isidro Vicentens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Duardo Pimienta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Felipo Mackenney had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duardo Pimienta. Duplijsa AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipo Mackenney was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Felipo Mackenney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duardo Pimienta having to interfere. The Provincial Ranco fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Provincial Ranco's Felipo Mackenney looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Felipo Mackenney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipo Mackenney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Duardo Pimienta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Isidro Vicentens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duardo Pimienta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute Felipo Mackenney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duardo Pimienta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Norberto Armanet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidro Vicentens got free with Duardo Pimienta in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felipo Mackenney blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duardo Pimienta having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidro Vicentens got free with Duardo Pimienta in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Isidro Vicentens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Vicentens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Duardo Pimienta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipo Mackenney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duardo Pimienta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidro Vicentens in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Jesus Cuadrado in the 91st minute of play forced Provincial Ranco's goalkeeper Estevan Durney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duplijsa AFC's Maximiliano Redole got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Provincial Ranco played a much better game than Duplijsa AFC and deserved their victory. The Duplijsa AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
