Spectators: 7415 (Terracing: 5562, Seating: 1705, VIP seats: 148) Mario Lavanderos made the kick off and thus started the match. Seran Macera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Bourchier in the 3rd minute. Xaime Felip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Lavanderos in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute Erik Daniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seran Macera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Mario Lavanderos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Xaime Felip was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Vasquez's Seran Macera got control of the ball when Ariel Bourchier tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Jeréz in the 13th minute of play forced Centro's goalkeeper Xaime Felip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Centro's Xaime Felip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Lavanderos in the 16th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Zebulón Berroeta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Xaime Felip was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ariel Bourchier got free with Seran Macera in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ariel Bourchier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Seran Macera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. If Reynaldo Fournier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute of the match Jorge Vicente Magnani sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Seran Macera skillfully saved the ball. Xaime Felip showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicent Acuña, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Luciano Jeréz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vasquez's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Jeréz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xaime Felip breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xaime Felip showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Lavanderos, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Luciano Jeréz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xaime Felip came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Vasquez's Mario Lavanderos. But to his dismay, Mario Lavanderos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After the first half Vasquez were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Daniel made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Ariel Bourchier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seran Macera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vasquez's Jacob Trucios got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute, Mario Lavanderos made a precise shot to the right of Xaime Felip. Centro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 64 played minutes Vasquez got a freekick which was hit by Mario Lavanderos. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Mario Lavanderos took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Xaime Felip to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Centro's zone, Luciano Jeréz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xaime Felip came out of the goal and Luciano Jeréz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute of the game, Vicent Acuña landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Humberto Madsen fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Centro's protests and gave Humberto Madsen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vasquez booed when Centro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Madsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Lavanderos in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xaime Felip prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luciano Jeréz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xaime Felip having to make a save. Seran Macera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Daniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Vasquez's Mario Lavanderos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xaime Felip made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6.
