Eugenio Almendros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Cutijmalla FC's Pere Jordi Las Casas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Pere Jordi Las Casas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Pere Jordi Las Casas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Srain. Pere Jordi Las Casas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pere Jordi Las Casas in the 38th minute of play forced Vallenar's goalkeeper Marcos Srain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Pere Jordi Las Casas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cutijmalla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pere Jordi Las Casas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Srain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pere Jordi Las Casas in the 41st minute of the match. Eugenio Almendros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Celis, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orlando Monje to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Saúl Larrazabal during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlos Saúl Larrazabal hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Marcos Srain came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Cutijmalla FC's Pere Jordi Las Casas. But to his dismay, Pere Jordi Las Casas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Vinicio Poblete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Marcos Srain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74th play minutes Pere Jordi Las Casas shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Marcos Srain and just under the crossbar into goal. Vallenar's Marcos Srain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Poblete in the 80th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vinicio Poblete's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Srain was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Marcos Srain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Poblete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Srain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Poblete in the 92nd minute of play. Vallenar's Marcos Srain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pere Jordi Las Casas in the 93rd minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Vinicio Poblete managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cutijmalla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Poblete was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 98th minute of the match Ruesga Soruco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Srain showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cutijmalla FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
