After having played for 9 minutes, Pierre Codina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tilama AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pierre Codina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Pierre Codina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lois Osorez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Sigorraga in the 14th minute of play. Paco Pumarino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicodemo Allison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Pierre Codinas short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Lois Osorez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 27 minutes into the match, Monteria's goalkeeper Lois Osorez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pierre Codina. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pierre Codina got free with Lois Osorez in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lois Osorez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pierre Codina in the 30th minute. Madeo Albarracin kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Guillermo Orihuela was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Madeo Albarracin during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Monteria's Madeo Albarracin got a free kick in the 36th minute. Lois Osorez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Omar Sigorraga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 44 minute of play. In the 48th minute of the match Quique Monckeberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicodemo Allison skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Hesler to strike the kick off in the second half. Lois Osorez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Codina in the 54th minute of play. If Bernardo Hesler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute Bernardo Hesler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodemo Allison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Sigorraga took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lois Osorez. Lois Osorez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Valentín Najera's late challenge caught a Tilama AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentín Najera helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tilama AFC booed when Monteria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Najera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tilama AFC's Omar Sigorraga got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Madeo Albarracin was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Tilama AFC booed when Monteria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madeo Albarracin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Monteria's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre Codina came free, but Lois Osorez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monteria's Paco Pumarino got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pierre Codina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lois Osorez having to interfere. When Ruyman Jeldrez fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monteria's protests and gave Ruyman Jeldrez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Ruyman Jeldrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Sigorraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lois Osorez having to interfere. Monteria's Paco Pumarino got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lois Osorez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre Codina in the 96th minute of the match.
