José Carlos Wickel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mario Alberto Valles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergi Arend's late challenge caught a Cisterna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergi Arend helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Sergi Arend hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patillos's Fortunato Astigueta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Alberto Valles in the 13th minute of play. Fortunato Astigueta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabino Orbegoso in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Mario Alberto Valles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Edelmiro Bolaños fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cisterna's protests and gave Edelmiro Bolaños a yellow card for diving instead. Edelmiro Bolaños hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Cisterna's José Carlos Wickel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Lautroup in the 20th minute of play. Ismael Lautroup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Wickel having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Román Catalá ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Carlos Wickel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. José Carlos Wickel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Regino Camus in the 28th minute of play. Fortunato Astigueta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabino Orbegoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miquel Laferte scored 2-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fortunato Astigueta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute Gabino Orbegoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Astigueta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Carlos Wickel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Román Catalá in the 45th minute. After 48 minutes, Xabel Manteola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cisterna and the Patillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th match minute, Cisterna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xabel Manteola to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Alberto Valles to make the kick off. Gabino Orbegoso struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Fortunato Astigueta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cisterna. Gabino Orbegoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Fortunato Astigueta made a huge save. Edelmiro Bolaños got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 73 minutes into the game, Patillos's Ismael Lautroup nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Carlos Wickel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. José Carlos Wickel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Regino Camus, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When Xabel Manteola was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Lautroup in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Carlos Wickel saved Cisterna from getting behind. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Román Catalá sped through Cisterna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Carlos Wickel. When the referee ended the match the Patillos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
