Spectators: 7119 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Reces Forlan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cisterna's José Carlos Wickel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reces Forlan in the 4th minute of play. After 5th play minutes Marino Estévez shot 0-1, a short shot which went by José Carlos Wickel and just under the crossbar into goal. Xabel Manteola charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xabel Manteola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Mario Alberto Valles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Carlos Wickel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reces Forlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Xabel Manteola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Reces Forlan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Illaya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Marino Estévez scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Carlos Wickel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reces Forlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Alberto Valles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constancio Lanz having to interfere. Marino Estévez struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. José Carlos Wickel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Illaya. Marino Estévez might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Carlos Wickel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marino Estévez ran back to his position shaking his head. Reces Forlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. José Carlos Wickel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Carlos Wickel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reces Forlan in the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cisterna's Edelmiro Bolaños got a free kick in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Cisterna's goal looked a bit too open when Reces Forlan came free, but José Carlos Wickel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Gabino Orbegoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cisterna's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabino Orbegoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constancio Lanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Alberto Valles to make the kick off. Reces Forlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Wickel having to interfere. Cisterna's Xabel Manteola got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Xabel Manteola off the ground. A collision led to Cisterna getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Xabel Manteola hit a great ball. Marino Estévezs short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got José Carlos Wickel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Illaya booed when Cisterna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Javia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miquel Laferte hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. José Carlos Wickel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marino Estévez in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Marino Estévez notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Cisterna's José Carlos Wickel. José Carlos Wickel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 82 minutes into the match, Illaya's goal looked a bit too open when Gabino Orbegoso came free, but Constancio Lanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
