Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Selmo Sáez took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Baquedano's Juan Pablo Gamarra got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 5th minute, Elizalde Hasche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salamón Frias was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Candido Delporte. In the 12th minute Eufrasio Talavera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Antúnez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baquedano's Salamón Frias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Baquedano from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Jorge Vicente Borges got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Salamón Frias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selmo Sáez in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Jorge Vicente Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baquedano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Vicente Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Baquedano getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Bermejo Castelblanco hit a great ball. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guatanave's goalkeeper Genaro Antúnez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jorge Vicente Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfino Granados scored 1-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salamón Frias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Vicente Borges stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Maurino Matte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Vicente Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes, Guatanave's Naelio Marzi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Salamón Frias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guatanave reached it. Selmo Sáez struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Salamón Frias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guatanave. Delfino Granados blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salamón Frias having to make a save. Jorge Vicente Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Antúnez having to interfere. A collision led to Guatanave getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Naelio Marzi hit a great ball. Guatanave's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Jorge Vicente Borges scored to the left of an out of position Genaro Antúnez, making the score, 1-1. Salamón Frias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfino Granados in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Guatanave's goalkeeper Genaro Antúnez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Vicente Borges. If Jorge Vicente Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 played minutes Guatanave got a freekick which was hit by Manolo Ballero. 97 minutes into the match, Baquedano's Jorge Vicente Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Genaro Antúnez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
