With a left leg Juan Antonio Dundan saved The Sinx FC from getting behind. Xavier Bafalluy got in the 6th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Juan Antonio Dundan handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Juan Antonio Dundan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Román Rosende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Xavier Bafalluy notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of The Sinx FC's Juan Antonio Dundan. Juan Antonio Dundan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cecilio Peluchonneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Mac Kay in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Bafalluy in the 13th minute of play forced The Sinx FC's goalkeeper Juan Antonio Dundan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Héctor Anastassiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, The Sinx FC's Héctor Anastassiou ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cecilio Peluchonneau. Cecilio Peluchonneau yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 33rd minute of the match Pietro Alava shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cecilio Peluchonneau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Menéndez Mistral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cecilio Peluchonneau having to make a save. Román Rosende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Antonio Dundan having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Xavier Bafalluy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Antonio Dundan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Juan Antonio Dundan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Román Rosende, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, The Sinx FC's goal looked a bit too open when Román Rosende came free, but Juan Antonio Dundan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xavier Bafalluy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xavier Bafalluy to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ancocatani's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Wenner came free, but Cecilio Peluchonneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Antonio Dundan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to The Sinx FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Herminio Mac Kay hit a great ball. Román Rosende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Antonio Dundan having to interfere. Cristiano Wenner kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Xavier Bafalluy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Ancocatani's Xavier Bafalluy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juan Antonio Dundan. Juan Antonio Dundan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Héctor Anastassiou sped through Ancocatani's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cecilio Peluchonneau. The Ancocatani players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
