The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Trapatrapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ondino Yete to maneuver through the defense. Maurín Orozco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Bettini, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Maurín Orozco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Manuel Cueto in the 35th minute of the match. Gilesindo Langlois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Ibarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Gilesindo Langlois came out of the goal and Lázaro Ibarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lázaro Ibarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilesindo Langlois having to interfere. Maurín Orozco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Siluna Perales's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. After a rather tough play, Trapatrapa's Omar Haeussler got a free kick in the 89th minute. Isadoro Anatibia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilesindo Langlois having to interfere. In the 99th minute Lázaro Ibarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilesindo Langlois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
