Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lázaro Ibarra started the match with the kick off. Laurín Almendras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Ibarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Lázaro Ibarra notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Thunderboys's Laurín Almendras. Laurín Almendras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute of the match Higinio Frago sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laurín Almendras skillfully saved the ball. Trapatrapa's Maurín Orozco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Trapatrapa from getting a goal against them. After 37th play minutes Clemente Isadore shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Maurín Orozco and just under the crossbar into goal. Laurín Almendras came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Trapatrapa's Isadoro Anatibia. But to his dismay, Isadoro Anatibia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clemente Isadore to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Cristián Ocon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurín Orozco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurín Orozco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristián Ocon, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Elodio Granado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurín Orozco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elodio Granado in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elodio Granado in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurín Orozco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Elodio Granado came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Thunderboys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elodio Granado couldn't finish the play. After 60 minutes, Clemente Isadore made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Trapatrapa's Maurín Orozco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the game, Thunderboys's Elodio Granado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurín Orozco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. When Barni Alarcón fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thunderboys's protests and gave Barni Alarcón a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elodio Granado in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurín Orozco saved Trapatrapa from getting behind. Salvador Lizarzaburu hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When Thunderboys's Elodio Granado in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trapatrapa's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristián Ocon in the 82nd minute of play forced Trapatrapa's goalkeeper Maurín Orozco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elodio Granado scored 5-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurín Orozco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, Clemente Isadore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurín Orozco was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. Maurín Orozco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elodio Granado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Isadore got in the 96th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Maurín Orozco handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Thunderboys fully deserved thier win.
