Naelio Romo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Basilio De la Cruz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sewell's Naelio Romo. Naelio Romo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basilio De la Cruz in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naelio Romo saved Sewell from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Sewell's goal looked a bit too open when Lauro Nuñez came free, but Naelio Romo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, José Marcelo Markovic dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Moncho Montane, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio De la Cruz in the 27th minute of play forced Sewell's goalkeeper Naelio Romo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th match minute, Sewell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Waddington to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Sewell's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio De la Cruz came free, but Naelio Romo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basilio De la Cruz to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sewell's zone, Basilio De la Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naelio Romo came out of the goal and Basilio De la Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Sewell defense, Jeronimo Jodar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Naelio Romo. The Sewell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Naelio Romo should have stopped the shot. Genaro Waugh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sewell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Naelio Romo should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, Jonatan Avaria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basilio De la Cruz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Naelio Romo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Naelio Romo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 77 minutes, Filomeno Waddington mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sewell and the Pocuro AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79thth minute of the game Genaro Waugh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sewell's Naelio Romo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Basilio De la Cruz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Naelio Romo came out and tried to block the shot, but Basilio De la Cruz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 82nd minute.
