Juan Alfonso Sobuage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Artaza having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Sebastiano Canales ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benicio Fett was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastiano Canales was the one to do the kick off. Benicio Fett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastiano Canales in the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in CALIGVLA's zone, Juan Alfonso Sobuage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Artaza came out of the goal and Juan Alfonso Sobuage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Alfonso Sobuage's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Artaza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Gaspar Martos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ricardo Artaza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertrán Meléndez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Benicio Fett made a huge save. Canete AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertrán Meléndez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When Gaspar Martos came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Canete AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Martos couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute Gaspar Martos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Artaza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, CALIGVLA's Albano Cares got a free kick in the 78th minute. Juan Alfonso Sobuage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Canete AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CALIGVLA:s goal. 91 minutes into the match, CALIGVLA's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Martos came free, but Ricardo Artaza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canete AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing CALIGVLA to leave the ground with a draw.
