CALIGVLA's Ricardo Artaza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Fenner in the 25th minute of play. Ernesto Carson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ricardo Artaza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martino Marfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastiano Canales in the 29th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Sebastiano Canales's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martino Marfil was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. A collision led to CALIGVLA getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Alessandro Magdahl hit a great ball. The supporters of CALIGVLA booed when Rota was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Alvear didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pere Jordi Wilson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martino Marfil. Rota's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastiano Canales to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute CALIGVLA were awarded a corner. Pere Jordi Wilson went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Pere Jordi Wilson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Martino Marfil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Bertrán Meléndez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. Daniel Fenner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Artaza having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Ernesto Carson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardo Artaza. Ernesto Carson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Alessandro Magdahl hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Ernesto Carson in the 84th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Ernesto Carson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Artaza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Carson, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
