Alcadio Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Artaza having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Vinicio Flores ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Artaza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Alessandro Magdahl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CALIGVLA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cobresal F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, CALIGVLA's Alessandro Magdahl got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute, Vinicio Flores made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Artaza. CALIGVLA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Vinicio Flores came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Cobresal F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinicio Flores couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, CALIGVLA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cirilo Barrientos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 23 minutes into the match, CALIGVLA's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Flores came free, but Ricardo Artaza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cirilo Barrientos struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ricardo Artaza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cobresal F.C.. Ricardo Artaza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A collision led to Cobresal F.C. getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Alcadio Montenegro hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Sebastiano Canales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Huaiquiman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alcadio Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Artaza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastiano Canales in the 38th minute of play forced Cobresal F.C.'s goalkeeper Jacob Huaiquiman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Barrientos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Artaza having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinicio Flores in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Artaza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vinicio Flores could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ricardo Artaza made a huge save. After having played for 44 minutes, Cirilo Barrientos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cobresal F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirilo Barrientos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vinicio Flores's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Artaza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinicio Flores in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Artaza saved CALIGVLA from getting behind. When Cobresal F.C.'s Vinicio Flores in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CALIGVLA's goalie prevented a goal. Vinicio Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, CALIGVLA's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Flores came free, but Ricardo Artaza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 minutes of play, Cobresal F.C.'s Vinicio Flores made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Artaza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacob Huaiquiman made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Bertrán Meléndez sent off a good shot on target. Jacob Huaiquiman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertrán Meléndez in the 88th minute. When Cobresal F.C.'s Vinicio Flores in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CALIGVLA's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in CALIGVLA's zone, Cirilo Barrientos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Artaza came out of the goal and Cirilo Barrientos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cobresal F.C. had played much better football throughout.
