Guido Reinaga hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Guido Reinaga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demetrio Irisarri. Cartagonova Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Reinaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 17th minute of the match Carlos Manuel Estolaza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Demetrio Irisarri skillfully saved the ball. Salvador Fisher's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Podador Basaez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Salvador Fisher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Salvador Fisher notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bill's Podador Basaez. Podador Basaez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Manuel Urquiza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Podador Basaez having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Manuel Urquiza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Bill getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Naelio Danke hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Cartagonova Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Espínola came free, but Demetrio Irisarri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 minutes, Jesus Espínola made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cartagonova Fc's Demetrio Irisarri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bill's goalkeeper Podador Basaez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Silvestre Davidovits ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Podador Basaez was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Jesus Espínola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesus Espínola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Demetrio Irisarri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Podador Basaez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Manuel Urquiza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cartagonova Fc's Salvador Fisher got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, Cartagonova Fc could leave the field as winners, despite Bill having more of the ball for most of the match.
