The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Israel Amunátegui showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Israel Amunátegui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Cordoba in the 29th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eulalio Arciego during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Choquelimpie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Arciego to maneuver through the defense. Choquelimpie's Eulalio Arciego got his second yellow card of the match in the 32nd minute. The referee ordered Eulalio Arciego off the ground. Igor Cordoba ran back to his position shaking his head. If Igor Cordoba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Choquelimpie defense, Firmín Ruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Israel Amunátegui. The Choquelimpie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Israel Amunátegui should have stopped the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Firmín Ruz to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes of play, Maichin FC's Igor Cordoba made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Israel Amunátegui was left in no man's land by his defense there! Firmín Ruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Choquelimpie getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Selmo Bastic hit a great ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Igor Cordoba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maichin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Cordoba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute Jose Maria Gajardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Amunátegui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Maichin FC's Firmín Ruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Israel Amunátegui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Choquelimpie's goalkeeper Israel Amunátegui, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Firmín Ruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute, Igor Cordoba fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Israel Amunátegui, passed just outside the right post. Firmín Ruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Amunátegui having to interfere. Jose Manuel De la Cuadra hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Choquelimpie fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Maichin FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
