The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 15 played minutes Centro got a freekick which was hit by Juan Miguel Morales. Humberto Alico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Nilos short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Esequiel Vivero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 22 minutes into the match, Centro's goalkeeper Esequiel Vivero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfredo Nilo. Wilfredo Nilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esequiel Vivero having to interfere. Centro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Humberto Alico scored to the left of an out of position Esequiel Vivero, making the score, 3-0. Thanks to some nice moves Wilfredo Nilo could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Esequiel Vivero however easily saved by the left post. Wilfredo Nilo struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Esequiel Vivero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sacachispas F.C. If Wilfredo Nilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Alico in the 36th minute of play forced Centro's goalkeeper Esequiel Vivero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Centro's Esequiel Vivero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Centro from getting a goal against them. Juan Miguel Morales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Miguel Morales during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Centro's Juan Miguel Morales got a free kick in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alipio Goyenechea made a kick off. In the 59th minute Wilfredo Nilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esequiel Vivero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Wilfredo Nilo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sacachispas F.C's attack was well implemented in the 62nd minute, but when Humberto Alico was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Wilfredo Nilo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Humberto Alico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Esequiel Vivero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wilfredo Nilo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Eleazar Marsano's late challenge caught a Centro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eleazar Marsano helped the player get up and apologised. Humberto Alico might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esequiel Vivero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Humberto Alico ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th minute, Juan Miguel Morales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esequiel Vivero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Nilo in the 92nd minute of play. In the 97th minute Wilfredo Nilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esequiel Vivero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
