Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Tobías Warner came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Balsas's Juan Carlos Romeo. But to his dismay, Juan Carlos Romeo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 6th minute, Filiberto Urbano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Alberto Samaniego was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Balsas's Luis Alberto Samaniego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Balsas from getting a goal against them. Juan Carlos Romeo might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobías Warner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Carlos Romeo ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Balsas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cautinisca:s goal. When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, Cautinisca's Moncho Aracena got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luis Alberto Samaniego. With an all-out effort, Cautinisca's Luis Alberto Samaniego threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from José Javier Cabedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Filiberto Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Alberto Samaniego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Javier Cabedo in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Carlos Romeo in the 40th minute of play forced Cautinisca's goalkeeper Tobías Warner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Juan Carlos Romeo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th match minute, Cautinisca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Olarra to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Carlos Romeo to make the kick off. Balsas's Luis Alberto Samaniego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Javier Cabedo in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Nemesio Gandarillas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balsas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cautinisca the free kick. Nemesio Gandarillas hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 59th match minute, Balsas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrián Bolivar to maneuver through the defense. Luis Alberto Samaniego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Javier Cabedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cautinisca's Tobías Warner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Cautinisca from getting a goal against them. When Filiberto Urbano came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Cautinisca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Urbano couldn't finish the play. José Javier Cabedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luis Alberto Samaniego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Javier Cabedo in the 79th minute of the match. Luis Alberto Samaniego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Javier Cabedo in the 86th minute of play. Moncho Aracena kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Juan Carlos Romeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobías Warner having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Cautinisca's goalkeeper Tobías Warner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Carlos Romeo. In the 94th minute, José Javier Cabedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Alberto Samaniego was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Cautinisca were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Balsas for a fine match.
