Ramon María Alcayaga struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Alcides Jaime didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guilleumo AFC. After some careless play in the Playa Ancha Street defense, Juan Ignacio Monasterio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alcides Jaime. The Playa Ancha Street fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alcides Jaime should have stopped the shot. After the first half Guilleumo AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Ignacio Monasterio to make the kick off. Simón Solis charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simón Solis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Playa Ancha Street booed when Guilleumo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simón Solis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Facuse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingo Amor having to make a save. In the 70th play minute Ramon María Alcayaga came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alcides Jaime. 0-4. Alcides Jaime showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Ignacio Monasterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Juan Ignacio Monasterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alcides Jaime having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Playa Ancha Street's Oscar Facuse got a free kick in the 81st minute. Alcides Jaime made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Ignacio Monasterio in the 83rd minute of play. Juan Ignacio Monasterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Alcides Jaime tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
