Spectators: 6710 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mario Herdoyza kicked off to start the match. Leonides Eastman took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Ambrosetti. Ismael Ambrosetti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Isidro Dattwyler had several of the ESCORPION FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 6 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Francisco Gundelach as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Eastman in the 9th minute of play forced Quintay FC's goalkeeper Ismael Ambrosetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Aaron Paetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19thth minute of the game Hermelando Mundaca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quintay FC's Ismael Ambrosetti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Leonides Eastman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Alfonso Margulis during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ESCORPION FC booed when Quintay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Alfonso Margulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermelando Mundaca in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Ambrosetti saved Quintay FC from getting behind. After 28 played minutes Quintay FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Alfonso Margulis. Leonides Eastman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in ESCORPION FC's zone, Mario Herdoyza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Gundelach came out of the goal and Mario Herdoyza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th match minute, Quintay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cresenciano Alveal to maneuver through the defense. Leonides Eastman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ismael Ambrosetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ESCORPION FC's Leonides Eastman got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermelando Mundaca to strike the kick off in the second half. Enric Cervantes kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Cresenciano Alveal charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cresenciano Alveal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ESCORPION FC booed when Quintay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cresenciano Alveal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonides Eastman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Ambrosetti having to interfere. When Alfredo González came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the ESCORPION FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo González couldn't finish the play. If Hermelando Mundaca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Quintay FC's Aaron Paetz got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 74th minute, Hermelando Mundaca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, Hermelando Mundaca reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ismael Ambrosetti. The goal made the score 1-3. After having played for 81 minutes, Mario Herdoyza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quintay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Herdoyza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Robustiano Achurra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidro Dattwyler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Gundelach having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Quintay FC's zone, Leonides Eastman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Ambrosetti came out of the goal and Leonides Eastman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over ESCORPION FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Quintay FC throughout the match.
