Próspero Parant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Disvandis Godarte in the 18th minute of play forced Quintay FC's goalkeeper Ismael Ambrosetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Disvandis Godarte put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ismael Ambrosetti. Aaron Paetz's late challenge caught a Fundicion AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Paetz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, Quintay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Paetz to maneuver through the defense. Alcadio Alava recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Ambrosetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alcadio Alava, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Fundicion AFC defense, Isidro Dattwyler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Próspero Parant. The Fundicion AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Próspero Parant should have stopped the shot. Disvandis Godarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Ambrosetti having to interfere. Ismael Ambrosetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alcadio Alava, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Próspero Parant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Herdoyza in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Valiente Saavedra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fundicion AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quintay FC the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, Fundicion AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valiente Saavedra to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Fundicion AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Salvador Gaete hit a great ball. David Barth, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Mario Herdoyza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

In the 57th minute, Enric Cervantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Barth during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, one of Quintay FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Quintay FC. Isaiás Marquéz placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Ismael Ambrosetti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Próspero Parant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Dattwyler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Quintay FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Juan Alfonso Margulis hit a great ball. In the 79th of the match, Disvandis Godarte tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ismael Ambrosetti got in the way and made a wonderful save. Alcadio Alava could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Ismael Ambrosetti made a huge save. Aaron Paetz hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The supporters of Quintay FC booed when Fundicion AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Oruna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidro Dattwyler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mercé Goycolea's late challenge caught a Quintay FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee gave Quintay FC a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by David Barth, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fundicion AFC's Próspero Parant. 3-2. When Isaiás Marquéz came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Fundicion AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaiás Marquéz couldn't finish the play. When Disvandis Godarte came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the Fundicion AFC fans jumped to their feet. After 101 played minutes Quintay FC got a freekick which was hit by Cresenciano Alveal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fundicion AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Quintay FC.
