When Copequen's Matteo Budinich in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Castro's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 28 minutes, Marino Unquera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Copequen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marino Unquera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Copequen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Castro were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jon-Ander Elkins to make the kick off. Copequen's Matteo Budinich got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lorenzo Matas kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Copequen's Salomón Facuse tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Castro's goalkeeper Pol Marchese, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marino Unquera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Pol Marchese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Peio Demanet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peio Demanets short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Raymundo Falabella to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Castro booed when Copequen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Porter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peio Demanet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raymundo Falabella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon-Ander Elkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Peio Demanet in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raymundo Falabella, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had been going on for 89 minutes, Castro's Julio Bolivar got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Raymundo Falabella. Copequen's Raymundo Falabella proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Copequen from getting a goal against them. Castro's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
