Spectators: 6706 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1706, VIP seats: 0) Frances Peredo made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Federico Falcone during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, one of Carahue:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carahue. Wilfredo Garfias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 played minutes Carahue got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Angel Cacho. If Luis Alberto Mesina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carahue's Andrés Arriagada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Garfias in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Carahue getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Pierre Villarino hit a great ball. Andrés Arriagada came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético★Tizona's Wilfredo Garfias. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Garfias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Evelio Marcheses short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Florentino Andrade to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 40 minutes into the match, Atlético★Tizona's Wilfredo Garfias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrés Arriagada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Pierre Villarino fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carahue's protests and gave Pierre Villarino a yellow card for diving instead. Pierre Villarino kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Luis Alberto Mesina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético★Tizona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Alberto Mesina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th match minute, Carahue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaitano Alegre to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Wilfredo Garfias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Andrés Arriagada when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wilfredo Garfias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evelio Marchese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Andrade having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Evelio Marchese got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mikel Landea's late challenge caught a Carahue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikel Landea helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Atlético★Tizona's Mikel Landea got a free kick in the 64th minute. Andrés Arriagada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Alberto Mesina in the 67th minute of play. Andrés Arriagada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Alberto Mesina, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, Carahue's Edgardo Noria got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute of the match Juan Antonio Lantadilla shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrés Arriagada showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Carahue's Andrés Arriagada got control of the ball when Wilfredo Garfias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florentino Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frances Peredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Wilfredo Garfias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Arriagada having to interfere. Wilfredo Garfias in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Andrés Arriagada, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wilfredo Garfias did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Andrés Arriagada 89 minutes into the match. Wilfredo Garfias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
