Celedonio Samaniego could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Carlos Rossel made a huge save. When Estevan Soto Tapia came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Buill fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Estevan Soto Tapia couldn't finish the play. Buill's Estevan Soto Tapia got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Valencianos defense, Odín Sigorraga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldo Serey. The Valencianos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldo Serey should have stopped the shot. Carlos Rossel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bairon Milroy in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Valencianos booed when Buill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elazar Serpa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Rossel made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Celedonio Samaniego sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bairon Milroy in the 40th minute of play forced Buill's goalkeeper Carlos Rossel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Odín Sigorraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ronaldo Serey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Valencianos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Buill were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Odín Sigorraga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Buill's zone, Bairon Milroy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Rossel came out of the goal and Bairon Milroy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the game, Enrique Mariano Jory was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valencianos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buill the free kick. Celedonio Samaniego blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Rossel having to make a save. If Topocho Mascaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Gumucio charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Gumucio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Alexandre Gumucio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Buill's Aurelio Adasme tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Buill booed when Valencianos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Gumucio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Aurelio Adasme sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Valencianos's Ronaldo Serey didn't even have to move. Carlos Rossel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Samaniego, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Bairon Milroy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Adasme hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute of the match Eleazar Agnese shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Rossel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Buill getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jose Maria Pomar hit a great ball. Carlos Rossel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bairon Milroy in the 94th minute of play. Odín Sigorraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ronaldo Serey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Estevan Soto Tapia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Ronaldo Serey made a huge save. Carlos Rossel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bairon Milroy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
