An unexpectedly hard shot by Normando Abrego in the 28th minute of play forced Uni Linkin FC's goalkeeper David Durango to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Bernardino Oropesa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canadilla AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardino Oropesa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honorato Magallanes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Bernardino Oropesa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. David Durango was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alcides Correa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alcides Correa made a kick off. Ezequiel Bassenge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Leandro Cabezas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Normando Abrego managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canadilla AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Normando Abrego was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Durango breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, Uni Linkin FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Normando Abrego fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Bernardino Oropesa managed to get in a good position for a shot.
