Leonides Nieto made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Juan Concha sent off a good shot on target. Pomaire FC's Juan Concha got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonides Nieto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Lukey in the 36th minute of play. Donato Araneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodor Maddaleno hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When Tanio Reinaga fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pomaire FC's protests and gave Tanio Reinaga a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pomaire FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Tanio Reinaga hit a great ball. Ruperto Huelqui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Araneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Manuel Antonio Arnault received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ruperto Huelqui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

53 minutes into the game, Pomaire FC's Juan Concha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Nieto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Araneda in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruperto Huelqui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ruperto Huelqui made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Feliberto Ortega sent off a good shot on target. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Araneda couldn't finish the play. Teodor Keuter charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodor Keuter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Amazaca FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Keuter. In the 83rd match minute, Pomaire FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodor Maddaleno to maneuver through the defense. Pomaire FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Donato Araneda 88 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. A collision led to Pomaire FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Hilario Villarroel hit a great ball. Pomaire FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
