Spectators: 6689 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Chumelden's Gustavo Escobillana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Arestizabal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nestor Conde blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvino Sanfuentes having to make a save. After having played for 12 minutes, Regino Buzeta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huudad AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Regino Buzeta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chumelden's zone, Regino Buzeta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvino Sanfuentes came out of the goal and Regino Buzeta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Huudad AFC's Nestor Conde got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustavo Escobillana who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Pedro Arestizabal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Andy Gabler put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Arestizabal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Conde in the 37th minute of play forced Chumelden's goalkeeper Alvino Sanfuentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Conde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Huudad AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Candido Dubornais was slow to take the kick. During this time Chumelden's players had a chance to rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andy Gabler was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Arestizabal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Gabler in the 52nd minute of the match. If Regino Buzeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Huudad AFC's Pedro Arestizabal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Escobillana in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Huudad AFC's zone, Gustavo Escobillana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Arestizabal came out of the goal and Gustavo Escobillana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nestor Conde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Regino Buzeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvino Sanfuentes having to interfere. In the 75th minute Nestor Conde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvino Sanfuentes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Chumelden's Danél Jodar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Pedro Arestizabal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Gabler, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute Gustavo Escobillana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Arestizabal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Conde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Alvino Sanfuentes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nestor Conde came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Huudad AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Conde couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Chumelden's Alvino Sanfuentes got control of the ball when Regino Buzeta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustavo Escobillana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Pedro Arestizabal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chumelden fans cheered their team off the field, for while Huudad AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
