Llimpo AFC's Juan Luis Godínez got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Juan Luis Godínez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 25 minutes into the game, Llimpo AFC's David Israel Abella nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvino Sanfuentes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Llimpo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Luis Godínez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Llimpo AFC defense, Gustavo Escobillana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvio Baeza. The Llimpo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvio Baeza should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute of the match Pietro Porte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alvino Sanfuentes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Chumelden getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Remi Dareport hit a great ball. David Israel Abella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Llimpo AFC booed when Chumelden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bairon Valderrama didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Alvino Sanfuentes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the game, Juan Luis Godínez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Alvino Sanfuentes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Llimpo AFC fully deserved thier win.
