Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Christiano Lukey kicked off to start the match. Aníbal Hermosilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Lukey, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Christiano Lukey took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Aníbal Hermosilla to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christiano Lukey in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aníbal Hermosilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lagunillas's Gualberto Iribarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Hugo Recasens in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Lagunillas's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Ormaechea came free, but Gualberto Iribarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Lagunillas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidelio Varela to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th play minute Mario Jesus Picado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aníbal Hermosilla. 2-0. Mario Jesus Picado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Aníbal Hermosilla made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Claudio Ormaechea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualberto Iribarra was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. With a little luck, Trabunco's Aníbal Hermosilla got control of the ball when Quintán Parrasia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Trabunco's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Mario Jesus Picado scored to the left of an out of position Aníbal Hermosilla, making the score, 3-0. The supporters of Lagunillas booed when Trabunco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florinio Telaeche didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albin Huilipan during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute Wilson Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualberto Iribarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aníbal Hermosilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christiano Lukey's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Ormaechea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Francisco Miguel Guarda took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aníbal Hermosilla. Aníbal Hermosilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Claudio Ormaechea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gualberto Iribarra having to make a save. If Claudio Ormaechea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Ormaechea in the 60th minute of play forced Lagunillas's goalkeeper Gualberto Iribarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aníbal Hermosilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quintán Parrasia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute Quintán Parrasia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aníbal Hermosilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualberto Iribarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florinio Telaeche in the 77th minute of play. Aníbal Hermosilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Lagos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christiano Lukey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Aníbal Hermosilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 minutes of play, Lagunillas's Mario Jesus Picado made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aníbal Hermosilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christiano Lukey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Aníbal Hermosilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Trabunco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florinio Telaeche to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Trabunco's zone, Mario Jesus Picado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aníbal Hermosilla came out of the goal and Mario Jesus Picado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Lagunillas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
