Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Albin Jaramillo got the match started through his kick off. Madeo Araube sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abraham Patrickson kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Albin Jaramillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Quiñones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Pupetra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafín Piña to maneuver through the defense. Mateo Javia in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Norino Narváez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lonquimai's goalkeeper Norino Narváez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Pupetra's zone, Albin Jaramillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Quiñones came out of the goal and Albin Jaramillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Albin Jaramillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Norino Narváez managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Pupetra's Mateo Javia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, José Francisco Alviña managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pupetra's supporters rose to their feet, but José Francisco Alviña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norino Narváez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mateo Javia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Norino Narváez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lonquimai's Albin Jaramillo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Mateo Javia made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Mateo Javia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 52nd minute Robert Acharan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norino Narváez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Mateo Javia managed to get in a good position for a shot. The audience was convinced that Mateo Javia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norino Narváez was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. The coaching staff of Pupetra protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nicanor Payten had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 80th minute, one of Pupetra:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pupetra. If Mateo Javia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Pupetra's Mateo Javia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norino Narváez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José Francisco Alviña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norino Narváez having to interfere. Mateo Javia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Norino Narváez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Acharan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Francisco Alviña's late challenge caught a Lonquimai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Francisco Alviña helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, Pupetra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Francisco Alviña to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Leonides Talma in the 97th minute really tested Anastasio Quiñones's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Pupetra walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
