Lorencio Huilcaman had several of the Ladrillos FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Vladimiro Felice as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cristián Rodenas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Luis Acasuso went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Juan Luis Acasuso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristián Rodenas having to interfere. If Lorencio Huilcaman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorencio Huilcaman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Vladimiro Felice showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorencio Huilcaman, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Aurelius Suloaga hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 88thth minute of the game Lorencio Huilcaman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ladrillos FC's Vladimiro Felice was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Contornasa FC had played much better football throughout.
