Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Archibaldo Quintero got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Bali FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón Mattei to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 5 minutes, Miliano Forlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freirina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miliano Forlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Archibaldo Quintero took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Severino Oña to make any attempt to save it. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Freirina's goalkeeper Estevan Morgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bali FC's Severino Oña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Archibaldo Quintero in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Quintén Basaure got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Estevan Morgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quintén Basaure, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Archibaldo Quintero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Severino Oña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Quique Estolaza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noé Izammit, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Miliano Forlan struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Severino Oña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Freirina. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xavier Patiño made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Freirina's zone, Xavier Patiño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Estevan Morgado came out of the goal and Xavier Patiño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Bali FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Manuel Makaus came free, but Severino Oña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quique Estolaza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Bali FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miliano Forlan came free, but Severino Oña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Estevan Morgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Patiño in the 67th minute of the match. Freirina's Miliano Forlan got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Narcomillo Zubicueta hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 74 minutes Bali FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jerardo Oquendo who took care of the corner kick. Estevan Morgado came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Bali FC's Quintén Basaure. But to his dismay, Quintén Basaure quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 86th minute, Archibaldo Quintero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Freirina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
