Spectators: 7513 (Terracing: 5635, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Miguel Ángel Lara started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferrando Adasme in the 5th minute of play forced Puntilla AFC's goalkeeper Daniel Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Miguel Ángel Lara came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Puntilla AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Ángel Lara couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferrando Adasme in the 10th minute of play forced Puntilla AFC's goalkeeper Daniel Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Telmo Teran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Ángel Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Telmo Teran was a little too slow when Fabio Chumo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Miguel Ángel Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Telmo Teran was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Miguel Ángel Lara showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. In the 25th minute Ferrando Adasme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Marimenuco FC's Telmo Teran got control of the ball when Miguel Ángel Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marín Ortuzar during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes Marimenuco FC got a freekick which was hit by Marín Ortuzar. Remigio Errolan hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute of the match, Miguel Ángel Lara tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Telmo Teran saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 36th match minute, Marimenuco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefano Monroy to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Marimenuco FC's zone, Iván Luis Matamala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Teran came out of the goal and Iván Luis Matamala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Iván Luis Matamala took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Telmo Teran to make any attempt to save it. Daniel Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Larrarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferrando Adasme was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Ferrando Adasme recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Tavares. Ferrando Adasme showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Telmo Teran came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Puntilla AFC's Miguel Ángel Lara. But to his dismay, Miguel Ángel Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Telmo Teran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Ángel Lara in the 65th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florinio Von Stillfried during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Puntilla AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florinio Von Stillfried to maneuver through the defense. Telmo Teran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Ángel Lara in the 71st minute of the match. After 71 minutes of play, Puntilla AFC's Miguel Ángel Lara made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telmo Teran was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the match, Fabio Chumo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Telmo Teran. Marimenuco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabio Chumo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. In the 86th minute, Alfie Larham made a precise shot to the right of Telmo Teran. Marimenuco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-1. Puntilla AFC's Miguel Ángel Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Marimenuco FC booed when Puntilla AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfie Larham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Larrarte came free with the goalkeeper in the 97th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Daniel Tavares could save by the left post. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Puntilla AFC fully deserved thier win.
