After a defensive mix-up in Mr Bungle's zone, Odón Betanzos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paco Latorre came out of the goal and Odón Betanzos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paco Latorre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Duñabeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leandro Duñabeitia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mr Bungle's Paco Latorre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Mr Bungle from getting a goal against them. Leandro Duñabeitia might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paco Latorre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Duñabeitia ran back to his position shaking his head. Paco Latorre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Duñabeitia in the 84th minute of play.
