Américo Hoefler scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amato Noria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Zarzal defense, Teodor Garay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amato Noria. The Zarzal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amato Noria should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Minilla FC's Remi Oyarzabal got a free kick in the 12th minute. Amato Noria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Garay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute of the match, Américo Hoefler got a very nice opportunity to score, but Amato Noria was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 18th minute, Teodor Garay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albert Wilkenson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viviano Fantinatti, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Zarzal getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Soriano Tullet hit a great ball. Nastasio Carlini, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. If Américo Hoefler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amato Noria was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonatán Marchetti during the 70th minute. After 77 played minutes Zarzal got a freekick which was hit by Jonatán Marchetti. In the 83rdth minute of the game Teodor Garay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zarzal's Amato Noria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amato Noria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Garay, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Amato Noria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Garay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Remi Oyarzabal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minilla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Remi Oyarzabal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amato Noria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Igor Pratt fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zarzal's protests and gave Igor Pratt a yellow card for diving instead. Minilla FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
