Nikitiki's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minilla FC the free kick. Manuel Canales kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Américo Hoefler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Bakovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Nikitiki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Luis Aguero to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, José Luis Aguero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nikitiki's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minilla FC the free kick. José Luis Aguero kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes, Minilla FC's Nastasio Carlini shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mauro Bakovic came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Minilla FC reached it. Américo Hoefler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Minilla FC fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Minilla FC's Teodor Garay looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nikitiki's Mauro Bakovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Garay in the 23rd minute of play. Albert Wilkenson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reyes Galeas, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Nikitiki's Paco Porte got a free kick in the 34th minute. Américo Hoefler might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Bakovic. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Américo Hoefler ran back to his position shaking his head. Américo Hoefler struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Mauro Bakovic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minilla FC. After a defensive mix-up in Nikitiki's zone, Teodor Garay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Bakovic came out of the goal and Teodor Garay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Minilla FC's Teodor Garay in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nikitiki's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Minilla FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodor Garay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Américo Hoefler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauro Bakovic having to make a save. In the 53rd minute, Américo Hoefler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minilla FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodor Garay in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Bakovic prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Felipe Zegers during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th minute, Emilio Felipe Zegers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes Minilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Antonio Maldini. A hard shot 71 in the game by Américo Hoefler from a close distance when the talented Mauro Bakovic managed to make a qualified save. Nikitiki's players were relieved. In the 72nd minute, Teodor Garay reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mauro Bakovic. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 76th minute, Nikitiki's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Teodor Garay fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 81 minutes into the match, Américo Hoefler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Bakovic. Nikitiki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Américo Hoefler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After 90 minutes, Remi Oyarzabal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minilla FC and the Nikitiki players grew even worse after the yellow card. Remi Oyarzabal hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Minilla FC's Américo Hoefler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Bakovic narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Américo Hoefler got free with Mauro Bakovic in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th minute, Minilla FC's Teodor Garay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mauro Bakovic. Mauro Bakovic yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. The Nikitiki fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Minilla FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
