Nikitiki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reyes Galeas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adalberto Davalos during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adalberto Davalos kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Nikitiki's Javier Portolés broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Dalmacio Najera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute Modesto Liendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Bakovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Nikitiki getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. José Luis Aguero hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Rodrigo Pirola sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Nikitiki's Mauro Bakovic didn't even have to move. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Edmundo Zuazagoitia put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mauro Bakovic. In the 32nd minute, Dalmacio Najera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmundo Zuazagoitia charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmundo Zuazagoitia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Chaulinec's Edmundo Zuazagoitia got a free kick in the 39th minute. Chaulinec's Edmundo Zuazagoitia was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 45th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dalmacio Najera made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dalmacio Najera in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauro Bakovic saved Nikitiki from getting behind. When Edmundo Zuazagoitia, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 61 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mauro Bakovic was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Reyes Galeas rounded Chaulinec's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. A collision led to Chaulinec getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Edmundo Zuazagoitia hit a great ball. Reyes Galeas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luciano Cornez came out and tried to block the shot, but Reyes Galeas slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 77th minute. Nikitiki's Mauro Bakovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Zuazagoitia in the 81st minute of play. If Edmundo Zuazagoitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmacio Najera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundo Zuazagoitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Mauro Bakovic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute Edmundo Zuazagoitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Bakovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chaulinec were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
